This gel cover fits perfectly on the Kindle 2 and gives good protection. I like the fact that it helps keep the Kindle clean. I would like to say why I gave it 4 stars rather than 5. First the cover has a strong, wierd plasticy smell that lasts for weeks and is annoying. Second, I had my Kindle laying face down on my nightstand (to keep the dust off of screen) and had a pen laying on top of it for a few days. The ink pen has a red rubber grip to add comfort as you hold the pen. When I picked the pen up off of the kindle it left a red mark from the grip on the back of the case where the pen was at. Seemed strange that the color had been absorbed into the gel case from the rubber grip but it didn't hurt the Kindle itself. The only damage was a red mark on the gel case that I can't get off. Not a huge problem but it was unexpected. I would still recommend buying the gel case.

Fits my kindle perfectly, though it kind of gets dirty from my fingers since it's transparent, so you have to clean it now and then, also the quality is not as good as expected as the finishing of the product is not perfect, so that's why I gave it 4 stars. It does protect my Kindle and looks fine on it, so basically it does what it says.

Although the price on this item is only 5 cents, it certainly is worth no more. The problem is that the combination of the photo and the written description is altogether inadequate to really determine what you are getting.

This is very easy to apply, and protects from drops very well. I did pair it with a jacket as well, for extra protection. Wonderful buy!

I just received my Kindle 2 and this gel cover is much too big for my Kindle. I've since thrown out the shipping info so I guess I just count it as a loss
