Its 920 mAh lithium-ion battery is rated at up to 3 hours of talk time, and up to 240 hours (10 days) of standby time. It runs on the 850/900/1800/1900 MHz GSM/GPRS/EDGE frequencies as well as AT&T's dual-band 3G network (850/1900 MHz; HSDPA/UMTS). What's in the Box Pantech Breeze II handset, rechargeable battery, charger, quick start guide, user manual | High-speed data connectivity via AT&T's 3G mobile broadband data network: The dual-band 850/1900 MHz 3G network provides up to 3.6/7.2 Mbps of download speed, making it possible to enjoy a variety of feature-rich wireless multimedia services, and it gives you the advantage of offering simultaneous voice and data services. In areas where the 3G network is not available, you'll continue to receive service on the AT&T EDGE network, which offers availability in more than 13,000 US cities and along some 40,000 miles of major highways. Providing average data speeds between 75-135Kbps, it's fast enough to support a wide range of advanced data services, including full picture and video messaging, high-speed color Internet access, and email on the go. | | The full-featured, premium AT&T Navigator GPS navigation application includes audible turn-by-turn directions, real-time traffic updates and re-routing options, and 3D moving maps (additional charges applicable). Additionally, AT&T Navigator is the only mobile phone-based GPS service that provides integrated speech recognition for address entry and points of interest search. | | AT&T's Video Share service enables you to send a live, one-way video stream to another compatible phone during a standard voice call. The service also allows you to switch the direction of the video stream during the same phone call. (Customers must be in an area served by the company's 3G network and have a Video Share-enabled phone.) While using Video Share with family and friends is a fun way to communicate, it's also very useful for business. For example, a majority of users in the architecture, engineering and construction industries rated the ability to share live video through Video Share highly, according to research commissioned by AT&T. Video Share lets you see progress on a job site or review the day's work without having to drive from an office or other site to do so. | | AT&T Mobile Music enables you to buy tracks while on the go, access the Napster and eMusic subscription music services, stream music video, discover what's playing with Music ID song-recognition software, and find out what's hot with The Buzz music news portal. |

| Customer Reviews: Breeze II: pretty good as a basic phone August 31, 2010 Paul Balliet (Ohio, USA) 2 out of 3 found this review helpful
I purchased this because I wanted a cell phone to use as a phone. In general, it works well. It's thin and light, and becomes quite long when opened.
I initially thought that it lacks a speaker phone (even after endless reading of the manual), but I finally discovered that during a call, the "ATT" button activates the speakerphone (the manual directs you to press the speaker button, but it is a soft key that only appears during a call). It works OK, although in general the voice gets distorted. I like to use it when I'm put on hold, so the poor speakerphone quality is not a big issue.
Features that I like:
1 Sound quality and reception are reasonably good (both better than the iPhone 4).
2 Buttons are large and easy to see.
3 Quick dial buttons - set to call your most frequent numbers.
4 Hinge appears sturdy.
Simple things I don't like:
1 The case is slippery, and I already dropped it on the pavement and dinged the paint after only a week.
2 All buttons lead to ... internet charges, until I finally called customer service and had the internet disabled. I would pick simple sounding choices, and suddenly I would be using a browser & getting charged.
3 No headphone jack. It cannot be used with a wired headset, unless you purchase an adapter which plugs into the charger / USB cable connection.
A few notes on more complex features:
1 The phone has 2 interfaces: a "breeze mode" and an "advanced mode." According to the manual, Breeze mode which provides EZ access to the functions used most frequently. In the Breeze mode, you can view an abbreviated menu: Address Book, Messaging, Camera, AT&T Services, Tools and Settings.
I tried both, but the "breeze mode" didn't allow use of the music player. However, the lack of a headphone jack renders the music player useless without Bluetooth enabled headphones or speakers, neither of which I have. Music played over the built-in speaker sounds pretty tinny.
2 I tried using my wife's Plantronics Voyager 520 Bluetooth Headset & pairing went well. Reception is adequate, and vocal quality is slightly worse than just using the phone.
3 The camera is adequate, with poor white balance under moderate indoor lighting.
4 The music player interface is a bit clunky, requiring many keystrokes to get anywhere. Same goes for browsing photos and videos.
5 I found that voice activated dialing works well, a dramatic change from other cell phones I have used. It recognized my voice, and was generally able to find numbers.
6 The supported video formats are MP4, WMA, 3GP and 3G2. However, I tried 2 examples of MP4 encoded video, and these did not play (perhaps wrong size?). It will however, record and play back video. I understand you can send or share it if you want to pay the data charges.
7 I don't text, but I did find the text recognition software appears to work.
8 I purchased an OEM USB connector (not included with phone) to allow copying of photos, music, and videos to an from the phone. I installed a 4 GIG micro-flash card, and the phone will display it as a USB drive with no added software.

In summary, it's a decent choice as a simple phone. Don't expect much from the higher level features, including the music player and camera. Other reviewers have characterized the web interface as slow, but I have not tried it out.
Good phone August 20, 2010 VoodooHendrix 6 out of 6 found this review helpful
This phone is aimed at being an easy phone, and it can be that. It features some nice font sizes and fairly simple operation.
I am a teenager, and I went for this phone instead of a bar phone, a slider phone, smart phone, or any other type. Why? I like flip phones. There is peace of mind knowing that if I fall the inside screen and buttons wont break, and I dont need to worry about some huge display scratching against my keys while it is in my pocket or backpack.
For a flip phone, it does the job. Once you get use to the interface, it works quite well. There is also an advanced mode, which I keep the phone in. It has internet access, but it isnt blazingly fast--but then again, you shouldnt be buying a flip phone for internet usage or cool apps.
It also has a camera, which many people will point out isnt that good. I believe the culprit is the CMOS sensor and not a CCD sensor, so you keep some more "wobbly" effects. But then again, its a flip phone, so you probably dont need it for the camera.
The grip of the phone is sub par, which is a shame. They built it so the back forms almost a straight line, so there is no angle in which to distinguish the bottom half and top of the phone when opened. Additionally, the back plastic part looks grippable, but its not. While the design seems like it would be easy to grip, it is not. This is a problem for removing the battery and getting to the sim and mini SD card. It is built quite poorly, and I can see it breaking in the future. Tape will be the only rememdy if that happens (very poor design). So, dont open the back :)
I just need a simple flip phone, and access to some simple internet things. This fits the bill.
not a good replacement for the original Breeze June 19, 2010 John C. Graube (Obama Land) 10 out of 11 found this review helpful
I bought one of these to replace my 2-year old Pantech Breeze I when the speaker went bad in it, but it is not the same phone. Most of the displays are in a much smaller font and the dialing buttons are much smaller and don't light up. The original was a good choice for someone who can't read small print without reading glasses, but the "new and improved" version isn't.
